WHAT ?
Off Piste Africa, Africa’s leading Frontier Biodiversity Tourism Company links individuals, families and corporates with the means and desire to make a meaningful difference in the African Conservation Arena with on-the-ground conservation organizations who are making a difference.
PRIVATELY GUIDED. EXPERTLY HOSTED. CONSERVATION DRIVEN.
WHY ?
Positive impact is why OPA exists. As leaders in Frontier Biodiversity Travel, OPA works with and supports a network of trusted, high impact partners who are delivering meaningful and lasting change. It's these partners that are shaping the very future of these vulnerable landscapes and the animals and humans that inhabit them.
We are driven by our deep love for this remarkable continent and the philosophy that the last remaining tracts of purely wild Africa will only persist into the future with much needed and augmented revenue streams above and beyond existing funding models.
At OPA we understand that it can be difficult for donors to find the ‘right’ projects to support.
Our years of experience on the ground across Africa, and interaction with the conservation bodies across different countries and parks over sustained periods of time, ensures OPA has a unique insight into which projects are the most worthy of support, and perhaps even more importantly, which projects/bodies will utilise any donations in the most constructive and impactful manner. OPA therefore acts as an invaluable filter for our time poor donors and a third party endorser of our conservation partners.
OPA’s approach to biodiversity conservation tourism recognises that land, community (humans) and animals are inextricably linked and one cannot flourish without the others also doing so. Our holistic, principled approach also means OPA will share not only the wins and successes but also the flaws, failures and lessons learnt. By shining light on the problems too we guide our travellers to better understand the challenges and thus demonstrate why their support is so vital.

OUR PARTNERS
WHO ?
Off Piste Africa (OPA) is the realization of two passionate individuals, both in the pursuit of delivering the "perfect moment" through privately escorted conservation focussed travel experiences that provide a paradigm shift in how our travelers relate to the natural world and how they can make a meaningful difference to its continued existence.
By combing the "little black books" of two friends, Anthony (Ant) Kaschula and Malcolm Randles, OPA’s goal is to help join-the-dots by providing the conduit for interested conservation donors to engage with bona fide conservation partners at the coalface of conserving Africa’s wild landscapes.

Malcolm Randles practiced law before pursuing a career with Lloyd's of London as an underwriter.
He has a passion for the preservation of Africa’s last remaining wilderness areas.
It was 10 years of living in London and a further 2 years in NYC that, through the experiences of others, Malcolm started to understand and appreciate what Africa, as a travel destination, truly is.
Between 2003 and 2017 his job took him around the world and he was lucky enough to meet with individuals looking to experience his interpretation of an African safari.
Thus Malcolm started to curate highly focussed and intimate experiences where the essences of the destination lay in (quality) guiding, storytelling and access to wilderness not ordinarily accessible to others.
It was his guests' feedback that shaped the realization that heading off piste in Africa was about so much more than just the linen thread count and in-room wifi speeds.
Malcolm believes the ultimate luxury is enjoying a vast expanse of Africa authentically and exclusively.
